We have an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join our team as a Digital Marketing Apprentice.
You will be joining a small, fast-paced, creative video production company – which is quickly growing. Colab is built on 15 years filmmaking experience coupled with a strong foundation of client relationships and thinking differently to stand out and be seen.
We produce videos for educational and promotional videos for businesses, local authorities, charities and community groups. Our vision is to ignite learning and share knowledge through video.
The role will include working from the studio in North West Leicestershire, so a driving license is preferable.
Training on the 18-month Level 3 Digital Marketing Apprenticeship will be onsite and in North Derbyshire, so be prepared to travel.
Technical Knowledge and Understanding:
~ Understand and can apply basic marketing principles
~ Knowledge and the ability to apply the customer life cycle
~ Demonstrate the similarities and differences, including positive and negative of all the major digital and social media platforms
~ Ability to gain respect, trust and confidence in senior management, partners and clients
~ Understand and follow digital etiquette
~ Able to follow all the required security levels necessary to protect data across digital and social media platforms
~ Understand the principles of all the following specialist areas – Social media platforms, search marketing, search engine optimisation, email marketing, web analytics, mobile apps and how these can work together
Skills, attitude and behaviours:
~ Passion for Digital and Social Media
~ The ability to communicate effectively in a variety of situations
~ Logical and creative thinking
~ A thorough and organised approach
~ The ability to work independently and to take responsibility
Role and Responsibilities:
~ Manage Social Media campaigns and develop ideas to better engage our audience
~ Analyse information on the digital environment to help with strategies and campaigns
~ Recommend and apply effective, secure and appropriate solutions using a wide variety of digital technologies
~ Review, monitor and analyse online activity and provide recommendations
~ Respond efficiently to enquiries using online and social media platforms
~ Create and update analytical dashboards
~ Send weekly introduction emails and marketing materials
~ Update CRM with new and prospective clients
