Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust is an organisation dedicated to preserving the area’s natural landscape and wildlife, with help from volunteers in local communities.

Working with Rock Kitchen Harris, we have been commissioned to produce a number of videos to raise awareness of the work that the Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust are doing to preserve the area’s natural landscape and to encourage more people to enjoy and protect it.

To put these videos together, we went to several Wildlife Trust outreach sites to capture their events, filming vox pop interviews with attendees and beneficiaries including school pupils, teachers, and LRWT staff.

Mellor School Launch

This was filmed at the Mellor Community Primary School’s launch of their new all-weather garden, created by the LRWT to encourage children to spend more time learning outside, surrounded by nature.

Wild Forest School

TV Presenter and naturalist Nick Baker helps inspire children to share a passion for wildlife at LRWT’s Wild Forest School sessions.

These videos will be used by the Leicestershire & Rutland Wildlife Trust to inspire and educate stakeholders, funders, and the public about the amazing work they do to protect the local environment.
